In a technologically growing world, Industry Institute Interaction cell is an essential platform to bridge the gap between industry and academia. It helps to promote and strengthen the relationship between industry and institute, which provides an excellent platform for both the students as well as faculty members to be aware of industry expectations.
More efforts are taken for long term liaising with various industries. This will have great impact on understanding the technological developments, best practices in the industry world and subsequent placement of young graduating engineers.
Objectives:
To promote Industry Institute Interaction following activities are being undertaken-
1. To explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry.
2. Joint research activities or internship with industry by the faculty members and students.
3. Inviting experts from industry to deliver guest lectures /expert talk for FDP
4. Arranging industrial visits / training for students and faculty members.
5. Participation of experts from industry in employability skill development and curriculum development.
6. Sign Memoranda of Understanding between the institute and industries.
7. Training sessions / technical consultancy services to / from the industry.
8. Practical internship of students in the industries.
9. To create awareness about the job functions in the industry.
10. Participation of experts from industry as a Technical Advisory board member to impart relevant technical knowledge and skills.
